Wayang Bocor “The Story of Horned Jelly”

Will be presented in Potato Head Beach Club Bali (PHBC),

Creation of Wayang Bocor “The Story of Horned Jelly” which was produced in 2014 and it had been performed in Yogyakarta and Jakarta will be presented in PHBC. This story tells about love story of a young couple that their happiness disturbed because of the issue of terrorism where is the young man who looks like very Islamic has been suspected by the authorities.

The audiences of this show will be dominated by foreign as the loyal guests of PHBC, thus this performance is reproduced with some changes and development in scene and storyline so it will be more easily enjoyed. For the preparation of this performance, Wayang Bocor has different creation process than before. For the first time, Wayang Bocor will use a big giant screen with size 3m x 7m and also use a subtitle.

This performance is held by the invitation of PHBC which has concern, commitment, and also dedication to perform traditional or contemporary Indonesian art and culture as its innovative program to keep the international recognition for the various Indonesian art and culture.

This performance will be held on 29 July 2016, on 8 pm, with the opening show of Bali traditional dance “Ngrupuk Ogoh-Ogoh” by Studio Dance of Dadong. This show is for public and free ticket.
